Television crew coming to the Kaimanawa National Show

The film crew from Kapu Ti Productions is coming to the 2012 Kaimanawa National Show which is being held this Sunday, 26 February, at the A&P showgrounds in Pukekohe.

They are making a series called “Horse Sense” and are going to many equine events to capture New Zealanders and their horses on film.

If you want you or your Kaimanawa horse to be a TV star, get to the show.

They have stressed that they will only broadcast footage of people and their horses at the show if they have written consent to do so.  The series will screen on Sunday evenings starting in mid June.

Sunday Ranges Trip full! Looking at another bus on the Saturday (31 March)

We have had a great response to our 2012 annual trip into the Army land to see the Kaimanawa horses in the wild.

So much so that our two Sunday buses are full!

We are talking with the Army about another bus into the Ranges on Saturday 31 March. If you are interested register now by filling out the form. We will contact you once we have confirmation from the Army that we can go in on the Saturday.

UPDATE: This bus is not now going ahead.

Army Manoeuvres Affect Ranges Trip Date

Our trip to the ranges is being pushed out a week as a result of NZ Army manoeuvres.

The trip will now be happening on Sunday, 1 April (not a joke). All the other details are the same.

We are getting in touch with all those who have paid so far.

For those of you still planning to be there, be aware that we have one bus full and are well on the way to filling the second one. So, register your interest and get your payment in to lock in your seat.
