Sponsored Horses
Sponsoring a horse is a great way to help a horse in need. We have long term residents who require special care or horses that are just withus long enough to get what training they need before finding a home. We have a dedicated Facebook group where our sponsors receive regular updates, and can ask questions. Our sponsored horses are also happy to have visitors!
Sugar is a sweet mare that has come into our care after being left unhandled and on her own for many years. She is a nervous mare with long term body issues which means she is not suitable for rehoming. KHH will ensure she is kept in comfort for the rest of her days.
Horses looking for homes
Dibbs is approx 10 years old and 13hh, from the 2018 Muster. He loves attention and will follow you all day long. Dibbs is safe to handle and has been a pack horse in the South Island. He has also done lots of liberty play and ground work. Dibbs is looking for his forever home where he can be fussed over and given lots of love and attention – are you looking for your new bestfriend? Currently located in Whakatane.
