2022 khh Freedom to friendship Stallion Challenge

The KHH Freedom to Freedom Stallion Challenges was born from a desire to see all kaimanawa stallions have a future and to showcase the trainability of the horses that many felt were unsuitable for rehoming.

This competition continues to go from strength to strength each year and not only highlights some very capable trainers but shows very clearly how trainable kaimanawa stallions can be when partnered with the right person. With the addition of mentor students last year, the talent pool for incredible trainers continues to grow.

The 2022 Freedom to Friendship Stallion Challenge was another one to watch with a lineup of stunning yet completely different stallions and equally talented trainers. We had some returning competitors this year as well as some new trainers to introduce and we are pleased in was another exciting competition.

With twelve trainers and fourteen horses and a good number of those making it through to compete at the Ultramox Freedom to Friendship Stallion Challenge Competition at Equifest we are thankful to our competitors and stallions for the 2022 competition and for giving the stallions a positive start at domestic life.
